Over 30 years of litigation experience has led me to the conclusion that alterative resolution of legal disputes is an option that should be considered by litigants who seek an expeditious, economical and fair adjudication of their matter. Mediation provides such an opportunity, but attorneys sometimes shy away from this service due to its cost. I believe that mediation services should be made available at a reasonable rate in order to encourage the use of this process.

For 30 years I have represented plaintiffs in personal injury and commercial matters. I have also handled insurance defense litigation over the last 16 years. As a result, I have gained a balanced perspective which I believe enhances the likelihood of arriving at a reasonable settlement in mediation.

Most parties come to a mediation hoping to resolve their dispute through the negotiating process, otherwise it is largely a waste of time and money. As a mediator, that is my desire, as well. I will do everything I can to achieve a resolution that is in the interests of all parties
